The  Desafio das Fortalezas (Challenge of Fortresses) follows the traditional race course. In it, the sailors pass in the three fortresses of the defensive system of the north of Santa Catarina Island: Santo Antonio de Ratones Fortress on the Island of Ratones Grande, São José da Ponta Grossa Fortress at  Praia do Forte beach in Florianópolis, Santa Cruz Fortress on Anhatomirim Island in Governador Celso Ramos and return to the starting point at the São Miguel beach in Biguaçu.

 

Challenge ideal for more experienced sailors

With the Desafio das Ilhas (Island Challenge), you can now choose the size of your adventure. Created to cater to the less experienced sailors or those who sail slower and older boats, the so-called Dinocats, in this challenge the race course passes only in the fortresses that are on islands, such as the Santo Antonio de Ratones Fortress on the island of Ratones Grande. and Santa Cruz Fortress on Anhatomirim Island.
